這本令人心寒的漫畫記錄一位在香港經歷過拗直治療的同志的真人故事。她被母親强逼接受療程,隨之被壓抑到為自己的同性戀身份感到内疚，造成一生的創傷。筆者勇於分享個人經歷，帶出了恐同問題在香港仍然廣汎存在，而拗直治療還未被禁止。希望作者的坦誠及插畫家的演繹能觸動讀者的心弦。

This zine is a heart wrenching comic on the reality of conversion therapy in Hong Kong based on real events. It follows a young queer girl as she is made to undergo this treatment by her mother, and is subsequently tormented by the pain of being made to feel guilt and anguish over her identity as someone who experiences same-sex attraction. It highlights the pertinent issue of homophobia and abuse that is still legal and continues to occur in Hong Kong. The author’s bravery in sharing this personal story and the illustrator’s moving interpretation meld together to form a tragic wake-up call.
